Vanessa Perez is the President of WOMANtrepreneur, Inc, which she founded in 2003. In 2020, she transformed the business to serve women entrepreneurs and help them finish what they start. She was awarded the Avalon Innovation Award in August 2020 for creatively serving the needs of women entrepreneurs. She also started a non-profit in 2008 to help neighbors in need, raised $50,000 during the first community event, and was then awarded a grant through the City of Orlando to continue serving the community. In addition, Vanessa received a certificate in non-profit management from Rollins College in 2009. She served as Orlando Chapter President of Pink Heals (2015-2018), a national non-profit helping women and their families. Vanessa graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Business Management in 1998, and is the mother of two teenage boys.
