Echika is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Mwanga, a debt recovery & outsourcing firm in Nigeria reaching 70,000+ people weekly on behalf of clients . and positioned to help growing and innovative businesses in Africa scale by providing seamless support.

Echika previously worked as the Managing Consultant, Business Development Unit for The House of Freedom, a network of Faith based-initiatives which includes the Ministerial Expressions, Non-Governmental-Organizations with a shared vision of governance, leadership, empowerment, social reformation and excellence with each expression catering to a specific affinity group. Echika is also the co-founder and partner of RetCon Partners, a distinct specialist services firm that provides – including but not limited to capital raising advisory, accounting and finance planning, management consulting and project management to Small and Medium Enterprises (SME).

Prior to this, she worked as a Senior Associate in the Corporate Finance Team with Deloitte & Touché with a focus on due diligences, financial modelling and business development across industries. She started her career with Alexander Forbes, one of the foremost actuarial consulting firms in Africa and rose to being the Lead of the Employee Benefits and Pensions Valuation Team in Nigeria.

She has over 10 years’ experience across industries; financial services sector spanning across actuarial analytics, corporate finance, consulting, advisory and entrepreneurship. Deep technical and business competencies covering: business analytics, valuation, financial modeling, due diligence and trainings, with a track record of providing expert operations solutions within challenging industries and demanding conditions. Strong ability to drive teams and businesses with commendable implementation and leadership skills.

In addition to her career and business growth, she is involved in a number of organizations. Some of these are;

• Mentor with the Steering For Greatness Foundation, a body that aims to provide quality, relevant and innovative education for African youths especially its teenagers in an unconventional way.

• Trustee with The Bloom Story, a body that aims to inspire less privileged children to manifest their full potential by giving them a first-hand experience of a life of elegance and poise by leveraging collaboration and support from a wider community.
