Our mission is to engage women and men globally to pledge their support with a woman-owned business through our pledge to support a businesswoman in their community with Talent, Time, or Treasure.
We have also launched the #ChooseWomen social media campaign to be on the Wednesday after Thanksgiving. This campaign encourages everyone to support women-owned businesses and causes that will inspire millions just like Cyber Monday and Small Business Saturday. A major aspect of the WEDO initiative and our Ambassadors will be to engage women and men globally to make the “ChooseWomen Pledge”!
Our goal is to have one million pledges worldwide, connecting women with resources they require to grow and prosper, while also building a network of truly inspirational and motivated individuals.
We welcome you to team up with us to raise awareness and support women-led businesses and causes! The following are the various ways in which we hope your organization will become involved:
- Promote WEDO! Please join us in supporting women-owned/led businesses around the world; #ChooseWomen, celebrate on the Wednesday after Thanksgiving. This initiative will drive millions in awareness and funds to women-owned businesses, just like Small Business Saturday or Cyber Monday.
- Organize an event with your organization in support of WEDO
- Suggest potential speakers or invitees in your network!
